simulation with ns2

Hi,

I'm trying to implement a routing protocol in ns2. However, I'm getting this message 'ns: scheduler going backwards in time from 30.428832 to 30.085168.'

What might cause such problem?

I schedule the event (transmission of a packet) as follows:
Scheduler& s=Scheduler::instance();
s.schedule(&delayTimer,(Event*)p,delay);

where delayTimer is an object of a class of type Handler, p is the packet need to be scheduled for transmission, delay is the time needed to wait until the packet is transmitted.
