Hi everybody,
Yes,
I've searched this forum ... but didn't found a simple exact answer.
I have
two Linux machines: equipped with squid, iptables, tc, etc. which work as my
LAN gateways to internet. I use only the first one and the latter is standby for backup. Now I want to implement a
redundancy solution to have them automatically in active/active or active/passive high availability state, like what we can do by HSRP, GLBP and VRRP in Cisco routers.
I made some researchs
on the net, read about vrrpd, keepalived, ucarp and etc. but I'm not still convinced
which of them is good, efficient and suitable for me, and not being too old (like vrrpd).
Please help me and let me know where is the right direction!
Thank you.
Regards,
