shorewall 1.4, accounting requires what module?

Hey guys, I'm trying to get shorewall doing ip accounting on my mandrake 9.1 system. I've got the /etc/shorewall/accounting set up, and I was even able to get results from it a while ago (a month or so?). But then I shut down the computer and it didn't automagically continue doing accounting when I started it back up. When I issue the command "shorewall show accounting", it spits back at me, "iptables: Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)"

I remember there was some trick I had to do to get it working last time, but looking through the shorewall.net website now, at all the pages I can find that mention "accounting" doesn't seem to reveal what that trick is. I can't find it from Google or searching this forum either.

Anybody able to help me? Please point out the area in which I'm being stupid.. thanks for any help you can give.. also, if this is not the right forum, please point me to the proper one.

thanks again..

edit: clarification
