Sharity In Fedora

I installed Sharity in Fedora, I did not even know the install worked intill I rebooted my system and it came up on start-up.. I am not sure how to get to it, without starting up my machine.. and I don't know how to go about setting it up.. and is it true that sharity will help me get a connection between my Windows XP Thinkpad and Linux?

I've played around with Sharity a bit, but only enough to give you some basic tips:

The GUI that comes up when the Sharty executable is run is only for configging the sharity daemon and prompting for passwords when nescessary. The way Shartiy allows you to browse shares is by creating a directory (/CIFS by default).

Try pulling up a terminal and navigating around this directory. If everything's set up, I think you should see a directory for each workgroup (or Entire_Network) with subdirectories for each machine on the network, etc. Now, truth be told, at this point I got an I/O error and some log entries complaining about failing to open network interfaces, which from the look of them, may be due to an out-of-the-box misconfiguration. Then again, I haven't had time to troubleshoot it and I wasn't installing from an rpm, so who knows. Your mileage may vary.

Hope this helps.

I was surfing around the other day on Linux and I found something about needing Activate the Lisa Daemon.. How would I come about doing that, without have to mess with sharity?
