Sharing Internet Connection XP -> Kubuntu

Hi !

I have a Windows XP machine connected to the internet, and a Kubuntu box without internet connection. They are connected with a cross-link ethernet cable.
I want to share the internet connection, so I can connect to the internet from my Linux computer.

I have searched for this topic, but most posts deal with sharing a connection from an Kubuntu box to XP.

I have enabled internet connection sharing in XP, have set the gateway, and DNS settings. The machines see each other; pinging works.

I have configured my dhclient.conf: unquoted the

#prepend domain-name-servers <DNS ADDRESSES>;

line, and added my dns adresses. The correct DNS servers appear in the resolv.conf file, together with the IP of the XP box, and a "search mshome.net" line.

But it still doesn't work. I would appreciate any help.

In Linux just set the address of default gateway as the address of the WInXP machine
I don't think that you need to mess with dns for simple internet connection sharing

Well, I have set the address of the XP machine in System settings > Network Settings > Route > Deafault Gateway...

To no avail :[
