sharing files b/w win98/2k/xp and red hat 9.0

Hello all-
How do i make win 98 and red hat 9.0 see each other and share files on the network?? And the same goes for win 2k/xp and red hat 9.0? I'm using a regular HUB. And i have 3 pcs...win 98 on 1, dual boot 2k n xp on another, and RH 9.0 on the 3rd one. I Have no problem sharing files and seein' all 3 windows 98,2k, and XP, but RH 9.0 is the problem. Can somebody please help me w/ this??

If you still having problems, post your smb.conf file.

i did have the same problem all i did is play with it i added securty=user, server string =Linux Server, netbiosname=linuxbox, host allow. i solved my problem by disabling my firewall i know its kinda insecure but it worked and im tryin to figure out a way to secure it. i used obtain ip address automatically because if i configure my ip they doesnt see each other maybe i made a mistake. so consider the firewall and ip first! £Ä3
