Question Sharing a printer in Fedora Core 1 for use on Windows machines.

Howdy, all. I'm a relative newbie to Linux, but have much experience in Windows networking. I'm running Fedora Core 1 which I currently have setup as a file-server (Samba) for multiple Windows machines on the network. I've hooked it up to an HP OfficeJet G85xi in order to serve print capabilities, and other Windows computers on the network can see the printer and connect to it (while installing Windows drivers for the G85xi), but they just can't print to it (no error message). The connections are fine since they can see the server's files and the server can print.

In the printer-config, when I look at the sharing properties for the queue, "This queue is available to other computers" is checked, and all hosts are allowed.

Has anybody ever encountered this problem before?

Ok, so I figured it out through the following URL which is an example on how to set up a printer as well as shared directories for Windows machines on a Samba server: . I hope this can be of help for others!
