Share printer between 2 Ubuntu Computers
 
I am using an HP PSC 1210 printer, it is using my Kubuntu desktop as host, I want to share it with my Kubuntu Laptop. I can find all kinds of help on a linux/windows sharing, but not linux to linux. My laptop is wired into the network. need help!! Thanks

To point you in the right direction, you need to configure cups on your desktop to allow connections from the local network and then configure your laptop to print to a queue over the network. How you achieve this depends on the tools available in your distribution. You can also configure both machines using the cups web interface which you can access by doing http://localhost:631 . This article my help you out. Its for Debian, but most of it should apply to Ubuntu as well.
