Unhappy share internet win2k server and linux workstaion


i have a win2k server and i need to be able to access internet from it with share internet with my linux client my other windows clients work but linux wont the main ip of the win2k server is 192.168.0.1 help me?!?!?!!?!?!?

Did you set the standard gateway for the linux box to 192.168.0.1?

Check the output of route -n for an entry like

0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1 0.0.0 [...] eth0

If you don't have it you need to add the default gateway:

# route add default gw 192.168.0.1 eth0
