Question Setup a network

I have 2 Computer in my home. I have DSL and Linksys wireless access point router with 4 port switch. Is it able to share files with what I got? Or what do I need to do. The computers are hard wire.

Copy files from one computer to the other. What I mean by hard wire is it's not wireless. By the way I'm using SuSE on one and Mandrake on the other.

you can share files - it's not too difficult. What OS's do you have?

there's a couple ways of going at it. I find the easiest route is to connect both machines to the router/switch/hub (or whatever yyour connecting device is) assign IP addresses to each of your machines (preferably on a private network like 192.168.0.1 & 192.168.0.2), then you can scp or ftp or nfs or samba or windows share your files from one machine to another.
