I just installed redhat 8.0. Does anyone know how to setup a dlink 530tx+ ? a shot in the dark. I may be running a later version of red hat

2.1.18-14.8.0 I think...

I'm having exactly the same problem. Just installed RH 8,
kernel version 2.4.18-14 and it won't see my D-Link DFE/530TX+.
The driver sources from D-Link don't compile...

Suggestions?

The first thing to do is to go into the BIOS at startup and make sure that the "Plug and Play Aware OS" option is set to NO. Kudzu should then detect the card. If not, let me know.

Well, I'll be dipped... That was it. It also found my
SoundBlaster card at the same time... Thanks for the
help!
