Question setting up Win98/Linux network

ok, i need to set up a filesharing home network VIA my router from a debian linux to windows 98. i think i have samba on my Linux (i enabled it during installation). but anyway i am tottaly new and need to kno how to set this up. i have some knowledge in networks ( i set up a NetBEUI protocoll network previous to installing linux) but it is limited so speak in laymens terms as much as possible.

P.S. i really need this as my harddrive partition is very small (300mbs of free space)

P.S i also have a USB cannon i560 photoprinter set up as shared on the remote computer (with win98) if possible help me set this up too.

PLZ HELP IM GETTIN LOW ON THE SPACE.. and i dont ever wanna boot to my Win98.

Lol calm down
First make SURE you have samba installed (try some smb* command, like "smbd" or "smbclient", sorry I'm not at home, I can't tell you how to get the "version"). If you don't you probably already know how to get it (apt-get install samba* or something like this).
Once you have it, take a look at samba documentation ( some samples at http://us4.samba.org/samba/docs/man )
Samba is easy to use install, if you follow instruction... Instructions and docs shipped with source are better, maybe you should think about using source).
The first step is to configure smb.conf, everything depend on it.
