Question Setting up VPN in Kubuntu 6.10

Hi, I'm currently connected to a university's VPN via a windows box and am trying to get my Kubuntu laptop to connect through the same VPN but I cant seem to get it to work. I would be grateful if someone could link me to a nice step-by-step guide or if someone would be kind enough to post a few ideas on here.

thankee kindly

Sounds like you want a 'road warrior' config:

a lot more info:
http://www.jacco2.dds.nl/networking/index.html

You have to decide which application you want to use: openvpn, openswan, ...
