Question setting up ftp server on RH7.2

I have already set up the http server, but i can't get the ftp server set up, and I have not even started on the mail server's setup. i think the ftp server is working, i just don't have the permisions setup right, i think . if anyone can give me examples of how to set the permisions (ftpaccess?) or any place that has good examples, PLEASE let me know. Thanks...

FYI: I posted a while back and after about 3 days,a bunch of books, and alot of help from everyone here i finally learned enough Linux to get a job at an ISP. We have 3 differnt ISP's. 2 are windows 2000 (thats what i am used to) and the new one we just bought out is Linux (what i am trying to get used to). Thay had it in a slow server, so we are trying to upgrade it.
