Setting up another eth card, to be used for a Router

Hi Everyone!,
I just got Slackware Linux 10.1, for the sole reason to turn my old computer into a router. The old Computer will be connected to the INTERNET on an already working eth0, but I wish to use a FA120 NETGEAR USB 2.0 adapter, also known as their Fast Ethernet Adapter, 10/100 Mbps ( The card will be connected to a hub ). I already own it, I just want to know how to set it up to be recognized as eth1 ( on Slackware 10.1 ). I think the rest I can do myself... I think...

Thank you for reading and wanting to / adding to this post!

try

man ipconfig.

I think U want to make a little lan (start DHCP server)
do some NAT (bind and iptables)
and redirect some ports(iptables)

U can start with
ipconfig -a
