Question setting up a hostname

i am using redhat linux 7.2[Enigma]. It does not prompt for the hostname during the installation process. when i tried to change the hostname manually some services produce missing hostname message. my current hostname is localhost@localdomain. so i would like to know how the hostname can be changed.
