Setting up a FTP Server (Linux)

I was going to set up a Linux FTP server. So I was wondering which Linux distribution would be best for that, or are all distributions good for that. Or is there a distribution that is better for that then the others. All opinions are welcome.

Kind Regards

One is just as good as the next ;) Make sure your distro (during install) puts the development tools on your system (gCC and such) so you can compile applications if you need to.

Well, thinkin about it for a second, you'd probably also wanna look for security specialized distros if you are going to be using things like FTP on your box.

Read through this thread:

Find a distro that matches a lot of those requirements (most will have SOME security, see if you can find the one with the most..) and I'd suggest to attempt to use that ;)

Cool
