Setting network interface to use on CentOS

Hi all,

I've set up a CentOS server on a VMware system. The system is running Apache and some other servers, but I have a problem with some of my servers not being visible from remote machines.

When I start my servers (listening on ports 1489 and 1497), the system sets them up to ONLY listen on the loopback interface (127.0.0.1). The program (Documentum Content Server) does not provide any settings that allow me to specify which interface to listen to, so I'm assuming that this is done by the system.

The server processes are NOT run as root.

Any ideas on how this can be specified?

well this is about how to configure documentum, not centos... That's pricey kit AFAIK, I'd have assumed thre'd be a wheelbarrow full of documentation with it.
