hello
i am facing a problem with the sendmail (with 2 domains)
domain : test1.domain.com
is the hostname of the machine (IP 192.168.1.1)
domain : test2.domain.com
is the alias for the same ip (IP 192.168.1.1)
when i try to send an email like this
mail -s "test" -r
admin@test2.domain.com test@mail.com
i receive in headers "From:
admin@test1.domain.com"
it seems that sendmail looks only for the hostname and ignores the
alias
admin is not a local user in both domains.
any ideas on that?
