Sendmail Verification Error

I just bought a hostname from I'm calling it for demo purposes.

I want to have it act as a pop and smtp mail server for my family's own email address.

I have pointed godaddy towards my IP and I can log onto my ftp and webpage throught the new it works.

I can ping and fine...but when I use them both in the setup of a new mail account in Outlook...I get a authorization error.

It connects but authorization fails.

The user name exsists as a user on the system....

What am I missing guys?

Ok before you answer...the problem has moved to something else...if you send an email with my new hostname it gets sent back with a 'relay denied' message...anybody know how to fix that?
