Sendmail Incoming mail

Hello,

I have finally configured my sendmail server to receive and send e-mails.

Now I want to configure my Outlook software to receive e-mails.

I have no idea what my incoming and outgoing servers are. (IE mail.domain.com)

Any ideas where I can find this info?

Thanks!

I use postfix rather then sendmail but I was under the impression that you had to specify the domain names in the sendmail.cf file for it to work.

When your setting up the account in Outlook try using the IP addresses rather then the domain names. I don't know if that will work but its worth a shot.

Actually in Outlook Express, you didn't need to specify the server name, just specify the IP address of your server in the incoming and outgoing server. This should be work fine.

But if you want to know what is your hostname is try to look it into /etc/sendmail.cf and found the line Cwblabla (blabla should be your domain or your server name), but if you found Cwlocalhost instead of Cwsomedomain.com, you probably need to go to /etc/sysconfig/network
