Sendmail help, please
 

Hi all, I have RH 8 server that I need to install sendmail on. All the other computers are windows based and will use Outlook for e-mail clients. I know very little about sendmail, so could someone kind of walk me through its download, installation from the command line, and setup? I'd appreciate as much help as possible! Thank you.

PS. All other network services are running fine, including DNS (named)

sendmail is a vast vast subject, we can't really tell you how to use it, it's something you need to actually study a bit.

you might prefer to use a more modern and straight forward smtp service like http://exim.org

I suggest you take a look at Postfix
