Sendmail
 

I upgraded my RH 7.0 server to RH 7.1 and I know that RH changed the way that sendmail functions and I have fixed that. Now it appears that the server is not receiving mail. I can't even send mail to myself. Does anyone have any sugestions on how I can fix this???

Is endmail running?
Is it recieving on port 25?
Are you firewalled?

Sendmail is running....

I can telnet to Port 25 on the server....

Not that I know of I turned IPChains off. Unless RedHat is doing funky things.

Red Hat 7.1 defaults to sendmail only listening on the loopback (localhost). You need to change it so that sendmail listens on the external interface.
