Sendmail

Hi Gang,

Had a question for anyone who upgrade from RedHat7.1, to 7.2 then to 8.0 (7.4)

.

All I had done before to be able to relay email out of the server was to change the

DS
to
DSsmtp.server.com

in the /etc/sendmail.cf. This was the only modification that was done to all my version to send mail out.

Now in RH8.0 (7.4) when I upgraded the /etc/senmail.cf turned into the senmail.cf.rpmsave. I then modified the /etc/mail/sendmail.cf but no luck I can't get it to work.

Any ideas anyone?

Yup,
I did a bit of reading here http://www.sendmail.org/tips/relaying.html
and here http://www.sendmail.org/~ca/email/roaming.html

and chose the relay_mail_from option.

Thanks for the reply.... I took a look but still had no luck on making it work for me, do you have any other ideas....?
