Sending msg with smtp

Hi,
I exit as if the foreign host has refused the
connexion when trying to execute the following script.
What could be the error ?

have you tried entering it manually?

IF the connection is refused, the most probable reasons would be that the firewall isnät letting the query through or that the smtpd isn't running.
