Send mail from Linux machine to outside world

I'm receiving a lot of emails on my Linux machine.
When I run mutt or mail, there are several packages that send reports to this mailbox.
I want all of these messages to be forwarded to an external emailadres.
How can I do this?

u can use .forward.

echo 'schamie@domain.com' > .forward
