Seeking A Reliable Way To Always Have A Wired Eth0 Connection At Boot-Up
Hi, I run a Dell Inspiron 530S desktop with Win 7 and multiple Linux distros installed on 2 hard drives and I'm wondering if there is a sure-fire way to ensure an internet connection each time I boot-up. I'm referring to a wired eth0 connection. I have a ZyXEL P-600 series router. Sometimes, when I boot-up I have a connection and at other times I don't. I then have to click the network manager icon and select and de-select "network connection" until it connects. This becomes quite aggravating. Any help with this will be appreciated.
