Secure website login problem Mandriva with Firefox and Opera

I have 4 web browsers on my Mandriva laptop:
Opera
Mozilla Firefox
Epiphany
Konqueror

Opera, Mozilla and Epiphany do not login into secure website such has hotmail, skype website. In fact Epiphany doesn't want to work at all. Only Konqueror is successful in logging into secure websites.

Im using Mandriva 2006 on my Acer TravelMate 290 Laptop using fast wireless internet, why don't secure sites open in those three browsers. Ive checked the settings, All Tls and ssl stuff is checked.

Please help me.

Also well because I just reinstalled Mandriva after have a hard time with Ubuntu for the past 2 months I need to update Mandriva but it doesnt seem to be able to get the information of the updates to be downloaded. I really need to update Mandriva its on a kind of old kernel and the GNOME environment is so outdated.

It sounds like you have not set up URPMI. Here is a link to help you out.
