Searching for Belkin F5D8053 v6 driver

I inherited this USB wireless N. I am running ubuntu and OS is not running the USB wireless. I ran lsusb and it does list but doesn't run it. I have been searching the internet for the driver and firmware to no avail. Just putting this out there to see if anyone has some insight or can point me in the right direction to find the driver and firmware for the Belkin F5D8053 v6.

The general consesus of people is that it is not the same chipset as the previous versions. Where they have downloaded drivers of other USB wireless with the same chipset and worked for them.

Per http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_p...andname=Belkin it looks like you'll have to wait for the kernel drivers to catch up with the hardware.

Sad but true

I realized what you are telling me after I had searched Belkin's support center in the drivers section and my device is not even listed. Well version 6 that is. I also went to the computer shops to check out the box and to see how "to-date" the adapter actually is and apparently it is brand new. Now I am confused as to why my friend gave this one away to me? It being apparently brand new!

Any suggestions for a wireless PCI express that works well with ubuntu 9.10?
