Have noticed that the listing of eth0, eth1,eth2, eth3, wlan0 have not been the same for given device when compare the command line output with what given on YAST netdevice listings
have put in usb wifi devices, and orinoco netcard to side insert; but nothing works; have tried to edit them, but not an option for these eth0, eth1, etc listings.
First must mention that two of the devices had a notice in Yast of "no hwinfo" despite going to yast hardware and having all updated and listed.
The dmesg had 775 lines. If need specific ones, possibly could give a general area; these are a few I thought might be relevant:
eth0 RealTek RTL8130
ACPI PCI interrupt Link enabled
ipw 2200 Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection this is listed as eth1 elsewhere
orinoco_cs 2.0: firmware: requesting agere_sta_fw.bin this is listed elsewhere as eth0
eth2 link down
eth1: no IPv6 routers present
