Satellite b/band setup using Tellique

I am trying to setup a satellite b/band connection under Linux (RH 9) which I have running fine under XP using the following:
Hardware: Broadlogic ab2030 ic. (supplied by ISP)
Software: Tellique proxy s/ware from ISP & Linux drivers from card manuf compiled for RH9
Their support (ISP) seems to know very little about Linux, even less than me!

I have got the drivers loaded at boot & I'm starting tqrecv software manually.
It appears to load ok but I can't figure out how to log in to server.
If i set the proxy in my browser to localhost 9202 etc I get a bad gateway message which says the client proxy could not connect to the server proxy.

BadGateway
This could have the following reasons:

* There is a network problem
* The configuration of the server proxy is wrong
* The server proxy is down or unreachable
* The server proxy requires authentication and authentication is not enabled

tcpdump gives me

tcpdump: listening on aba_0

19151 packets received by filter
19053 packets dropped by kernel

I have no idea what all that means.

This is driving me nuts!

How do I get to login?

Thanks
Tony
