I have a wireless network setup between a linux box and xp box.

So far I can see windows box from linux and linux box from xp within my" workgroup" . But that is it. I cannot see the shared files for either. I can see the files for each box setup in the workgroup from the home box(on windows box I can see shared files from windows, linux stuff from linux box). Any ideas...due I have to setup permissions for the files???

On the Windows XP box make sure that you have the proper permissions. Is is WinXP Pro??

On the Linux box make sure the user and or group that user belongs in has the proper permissions. If you want to verify permisions I would make it 777 and if you can see the folders and such then take the permissions down. Make sure that you have Execute Permision on folders that you want the windows box to use.
