Samba WOES


Im reinstalling after 4 hours of pure hell ... Learned alot.. but my system is just in a system of .. Not going to workville..

Anyways.. my main ? is does anyone have a GOOD set of files they can share for getting the following to work.


Linux Box to Join Windows Domain
Share Files and Authenticate via Windows Domain

ill check back in a few and hope someone has already done this*

is this a valid netmask?

10.0.0.0/255.0.0.0

Of course taht's a valid subnet, how much more valid can you get? 10.0.0.0 is a Class A Reserved network, and 255.0.0.0 is a Class A Subnet. Perfect, altough, I'd really like to see a home or office user needing that many hosts.

I work for Intel and i need to access sites all over the world.. as well as the reverse.. this requires the entire 10.x.x.x class A ... thanks ill put that in and see if it helps me.. im still having issues though..
