Samba/Windows Ineterconnectivity


I ran this command

mount -t smbfs //192.168.0.2/drive /mnt/win

and it said it could not resolve mount point /mnt/win

I am baffled
Any help is apprecitaed.

check out this thread for the answer to mnt'ing a drive.. dont know about the memory problem.. never seen that one.. is the HD full??

did you remember to create the mount point? if the directory doesn't exist, then linux can't mount anything there.

Samba Errors!!

i created the mount point in /mnt and ran the command and got these new errors.

session request to 192.168.0.2 failed
session request to *SMBSERVER failed
SMB connection failed



and ideas.
