samba smbclient gives connection to 192.168.1.50 failed (error NT_STATUS_HOST_UNREAC)


in samba configuration to client side:
/]#smbclient //192.168.1.50/home/hardnet -U flower
gives connection to 192.168.1.50 failed (error NT_STATUS_HOST_UNREACHABLE)

That's an error message from the underlying transport or network layer.

Can you ping 192.168.1.50? Can you access TCP port 445 on that host? (Try telnet 192.168.1.50 445)
