Samba Share Not Working On CentOS 7

Hello I have two shares (/share1 and /share2)

I have samba service running on /share1 with no issues however I recently added a software raid with mdadm and now when i edit my smb.conf with the new share windows tells me that the share does not exist.

I also tried to connect with smbclient which works fine for share1 but not share2
smbclient //127.0.0.1/share1 -U shareusername
smb: \>

but this is what share2 gives me
smbclient //127.0.0.1/share2 -U shareusername
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME

I have setup the same permissions, group and owner as /share1 which works. I have restarted the service/machine but I constantly get this error
canonicalize_connect_path failed for service share2, path /share2.
(monitored with tail -f /var/log/samba/log.smbd)

Can anyone tell me why /share1 will work but /share2 will not? I even tried chaging the smb.conf's path on the working share from /share1 to /share2.

As a guess, check for selinux denials, if you're using selinux.

I did run these commands and now it works!.

restorecon -R -v /share2
chcon -R -t samba_share_t /share2

Thanks for posting the details, I don't use selinux much myself, and it's always helpful to see "what worked".
