Question Samba questions

How do you check if samba is installed, if it is, how do you check if its running, if its not running, how do you start it, and finally how do you stop it.

Many thanks

As always, refer to the man pages first, most of these basic questions can be answered just by looking at the right man pages.

[root@localhost root]# service smb
Usage: /etc/init.d/smb {start|stop|restart|reload|status|condrestart}

# whereis samba
