Samba printing: Linux Client to Win2000 Server

I'm running Suse 8.2 and have successfully managed to get samba working. I have access to the network but I can't print. I used YaST2 to setup a network printer and everything appears to be working correctly, but nothing prints. I have the connection settings as follows:

Host Name of the Print Server: 10.1.1.202
Name of the Remote quene: hp 4100 ps (the windows share name)

When I test the connection it works, but when I test print nothing.

I'm a total newbie so if you need more info let me know.

Hmmm, I thought with CUPS, you didn't need to have SAMBA running. When you add a network printer using CUPS, you simply specify that it is a Windows Networked computer, and it prompts for the SMB information. Can you configure it that way in a browser connected to
localhost:631

Ok I tried localhost:631 and heres the info I get:

Description: hp4100
Location: Unknown printer
Printer State: processing, accepting jobs.
"Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds...: Success"
Device URI: smb://10.1.1.202/hp 4100 ps

Then when I print a test page the job log shows:

hp4100-2 Test Page 15k processing since
Thu Oct 23 11:05:55 2003

Any ideas? Do I need to change anything on the server side?

Hmmm, is there a firewall block on the server? Is there something you have to do with Windows to tell it to accept network connections to the printer. I helped as far as I can cause I don't have a Windows server to connect to. At least I hope I got you closer. Now all you need is to find the one who can tell you the Windows settings.
