Samba on web server, errors logging in

Hello,

I believe I have Samba setup properly on a web server, as I can reach it via www.domain.com:901/ (domain.com is a dummy name) and there are shares I have created, as well as added users.

The thing I am having problems with is properly connecting from Windows XP, Does the xp system need to be pro?

wnat is the proper syntax to logon? i tried a net use * \\domain.com\share and comes back with a system error 53.

Hi.

You should be able to log in via a Windows box by typing \\servername\

It should then give you all the shares....
