Samba: New AD users can't authenticate

Hello,

I've set up a samba member server under an active directory 2003 domain. The weird thing about it is that it can authenticate all users that were present in the AD from when i configured the server, but when i add a new user in the AD samba doesn't recognize it.
What's even weirder:
->when i execute 'wbinfo -u' i get the AD list including the new user. So winbind works fine.
-> when i execute 'getent passwd'i only get the old accounts and not the new ones.

I've been going at this problem for weeks now, and i still haven't found the solution. Can someone pleaseplease help me?

Does the smb.conf have high enough Guid numbers to match the new users?

i received the solution to this problem from a user on this forum: the standard x64 samba version in FC4 has a bug in it. I've installed an older version of samba wich fixes the problem.

thanks
