Samba Login

I was wondering if anyone know's if there's a way, to configure samba to ask for a username and password everytime my share is accessed?

One of my machine's require's a username and password to access the share after it's been shutdown and brought back up.

My other machine doesn't ask for a password at all.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Depending on the WIndows OS version you are using it may have stored the username and password on the machine for login to the samba server. See if that may be your issue.
