Samba + LDAP
 
I have set up Samba + LDAP as my PDC on a Suse 9.3 when I try join the domain with a windows computer it tell me that a Domain Controler can't be found, I set up DNS and can ping the DNS server by IP and hostname. Can anyone help me out. Do I have to change anything on the windows computers?/

Do you have a Windows domain controller on the network? I assume you're running Active Directory?

Do you have the following lines in smb.conf?

        domain logons = Yes
        os level = 65
        preferred master = Yes
        domain master = Yes
        wins support = Yes

The Linux box is Should be my DC I am not running AD the Linux is the back end server.
But in samba config file I don't have OS level.
