I have a windows network running my law office. I have a win2k3 server and 5 XP machines. I have 3 machines running linux(suse, redhat, and slackware) I would like to slowly move all machines over to Suse. I want to do this first by moving my server over to linux. I want to know how do i set up samba so my machines can log in and authenticate on that box just as in win2k3. where do i start??? can samba be used as a domain controller??????? Help please

Setting up Samba will be very simple for you initially and you can slowly learn more about it and make it as complex as you want. It's a great idea for you.
