Samba fine from XP but not from SMB4K and Konqueror Refresh ?
I've pasted my smb.conf below, I can connect from an XP Pro m/c, it prompts for userid and pwd (sometimes straight away sometimes long delay) . Then lets me create, write, update files and folders to my hearts content.
If I use SMB4K on Mdk10.1 using the same userid and password as used on the XP box I can browse the folders, update any existing documents. But I can not create any new items.
Also if I do update an existing file then Konqueror's list of files disappears, until I click the refresh icon. Likewise if I create a file from another box it is not shown until force a refresh.
