Samba Error

I'm currently running RH 7.0 with wu-ftp .

I currently mounted folders from a Win98 machine to directories on my Linux server. This allows my users to access shared files from their window machine behind the firewall from the ftp server when they are at home. Everything is working perfect, no problems. User are able to upload and D/L file to their space. But the question is, when I go to the console after they upload or D/L files I get an error messages.

smb_get_lenght: rev error = 5
smb_request: result -5, setting invalid
smb_retry: successful, new pid = xxxxx , generation = x

(note: x = these numbers increase sequentially with each u/d)

I just hit return and I'm at a normal screen login screen. This only occurred when a user logs into the ftp server and either D/L or uploads files.

I looked at the logs file and see nothing out of the ordinary. Also I currently runing Tripwire too.

I would like to know what this error might mean and and how to resolve it.

There seem to be more than a few scenarios which will cause those messages to be logged.
Do a Google using "smb_get_lenght: rev error = 5" as your keyphrase and you'll hopefully find enlightenment.
