Samba doesn't work!!!!

I don't know what to do to share resources between my Linux File Server and all the Windows clients.
Linux file server works as PDC to logon user into the domain. I can do it without problems with all windows (WinXP also).
But when i try to exchange files through shares Windows clients freeze for a long time. Freeze happens also when i browse a shared folder. Somtimes i can copy files from windows clients to file server. It seems tha from linux to linux there no any problem.

I can ping file server from anywhere in the network, i filled all the hosts and lmhosts files.

With a sniffer i could notice that file server send content of the folder very very slowly.

Installed: Samba 3.0 rpm package.

Please help......i've tried anything.

Thanks.
