SAMBA connection failed

I am running Fedora FC3 with samba 3.0.10.

I am trying to setup a PDC for my network.

I've done a minimal samba config so that I could test it.

I can see the domain in "My Network Places" on 2K, XP Home and XP Pro but I cannot get into the workgroup. Windows reports "the device is not connected".

I have configured the firewall trust eth0.

Can anybody help?

ps - anybody know the status of Samba 4?

you might want to post your smb.conf file
