Samba Client Mount

Hi I have mounted samba from my Fedora Box and everything works I can browse, and I can read the server directory, but can not write even write permissions are correctly in Samba, as the windows machine can read & write to the files.
Any ideas why I can not get read/write permissions from the Linux box ?

Do you get the same problem when you are logged on as root?

Hi no as root it has read/write permission, but I can not change the permissions, it is only root as user, and the group have no write permission.

As user login it is the same, only root as user and the group no write permission.

Thanks

Find the entry for your smbfs in /etc/fstab and add umask=000 as an option.

If you need more help, then post your /etc/fstab.

Mark.

PS: Yeah I can talk Danish because I've been living here for 3 years, but I still have my English accent.
