RH 6.2 kernel 2.2.16 smb 2.0.7

I was able to get samba to work succesfully (in-terms of gaining access to a share from NT) but ... I have tried setting up domain authentication in smb.conf.
setup:

workgroup = domainname
security = domain
wins server = ipaddress
encrypt passwords = yes
netbios name = name of server

When I initially tried to access the Linux share I rec'd the following error: user not authorized to login. I was able to work around this by adding my user account + password in smbpasswd. But I have 3 other user accounts who will need access to this share...how do large networks get around this issue? I could not imagine typing in each user account + password for each user for 100+ users.

Figured it out --

I had to remove the linux box from NT's server manager then add it back in, then resync the domain (to expedite the process)...

Then from the linux box I ran smbpasswd -j (domainname) - and it worked! I can login as any client and access the samba share! It does not prompt for a username or password!
