Have set up a Mandrake 9.1 Samba server. I have an XP Home PC that can see the server in Network Neighbourhood, but is saying that I don't have permissions, and then that the network path is not found. Neither machine can ping the other - although they can both ping the default gateway router and access the internet.
I have only had this problem since I rebuilt the linux box and included the Shorewall firewall. Any ideas?
Does anyone know how I can configure the shorewall firewall from the command line?
Finally - does anyone know if Mandrake has anything like YaST in Suse - a config utility accessible from the command line - I have no GUI?
